I've been in love with midi skirts and all that poof and puff since Sex & The City days and I've always been a huge lover of all things print . You can only imagine my excitement of finally wearing something that combines the two with the bonus of deep pockets. If I didn't know the designer of this skirt very well I would have sworn she's lying that she's never set foot to a sewing class. This is the fabulous work of Londiwe Mlambo who creates many other amazing things I will be showing you in the near future . Enjoy the view !

If this blog spoke it would probably ask where I've been and why I'm back :-) . I've neglected all the writing ever since the South African business side took off but today is my first attempt to balance things by updating here once a week , twice on a less hectic week . The last time I was here I was discussing my love for black & white and my come back is no different but don't worry you WILL be seeing a whole lot of colour and print in the future .

I can't express how thrilled I am that the Black & White Trend is not dead yet ,but why would it ? Its a CLASSIC ! Last Sunday was so bright and beautiful in the East Coast I decided to don one of my favourite summer dresses to lunch with friends and took pictures for your pleasure of course . I have a number of readers who reside in South Africa so in honour to their currently winter season I did a look showing how I would wear this dress in Autumn / Winter . Both the dress and the coat are classic staples I will likely keep in closet for as long as my love of red velvet cupcakes doesn't catch up with my figure . My coat is actually on its 5th year now and I still remember the day I walked in to the Hugo Boss showroom and fell in love with it. I wished so badly that it came in red too but I plan on having that made ,thats how much I adore it . What I like about the coat is that classy Jack O flare it add into any ensemble and  I love the dress for how young ,fun and flirty it is . My clients went so gaga over it ,it literally sold out in the first twenty four hours and then two days ago I ran into a white skirt with the same fabric as the dress and grabbed it right away and can't wait to show you how I style it . Black & White is clearly one of 2013's Leading Trends and on this look I decided to give a little bit of the African flavour by adding a splash of colour in burgundy ,another huge trend right now .

I know a lot of us think short and fitted dress when we hear cocktail party but a look like this is elegant and can definitely work for such an occasion. Hope you enjoyed the post . Will be seeing you soon and more often :-).
